Figure 1 --> I am not sure open data is clearly only related to stance; I would also view providing the datasets in a useful form as part of the workflow. Could this point be put in between the two areas?

[ ] decide if we can put in middle, or perhaps comment that it is somewhere in the middle in fig caption

eliminate linear look/feel (put one box above) open data as stance, but also the act of uploading (or whatever) add to second box "make materials (data, code, stimuli, etc.) available"
