I have closed all the tickets relating to UAT 1 and have pulled them into a single ticket.
[ ] add number of months for extension and reason for extension fields - These fields are currently not present in the loans form and the user would like them added.
[ ] Use autocalculated fields wherever possible - To reduce error by manual error loan data and quantity should be automatically calculated wherever possible.
[ ] LoanDate field: UK format required
[ ] option of either 6 or 12 months duration rather than a single default - Having to calculate the value if only one default is possible risks of errors with manual entry
[ ] Extension dates: enter extension date with auto-update of current due date. - Extension dates: to be able to enter a 9 month extension and an autocalculate event to update the current due date
[ ] Number of parcels: picklist or free text? RD [03.080.2020] what would the advantage of a picklist for this field be? SK [12/08/2020] Not sure it was recorded as a question during the session
[ ] record destructing sampling request ID within loan request - Special Conditions field: If destructive sampling is requested, then LS needs to be able to record this in the record with the reference number. At present the Des_item number goes in. For reporting "We had 70 loan requests and 40 had destructive sampling attached". This is becoming the norm rather than the exception. The destructive sampling would occur first and so the information would already exist prior to the loan. RD [03.08.2020] this needs to be followed up with Lesley, Suzanne and Heleen. Which field is currently used to record this in BG-BASE? At the present this is unlikely to be a linked field. The destructive sampling is currently being handled using the Outgoing Gift part of the system. Would need to record the Gift ID.
[ ] Partial Loan return: scan in barcodes rather than picklist - Needs to be able to just beep in partial loans rather than selecting from a pick list RD [03.08.2020] re-opening this ticket so that it can be taken into discussion with Specify

Loan denied: Is this required? - Currently there is a checkbox in the loans form to indicate when a loan request has been denied. This has not be recorded in the previous CMS.RD [03.08.2020] - this needs discussion with more of the team [SK 12/08/2002] Added to workflow issues in Planner[x] Outgoing Loans UAT 1: Issue on Robyn's screen where species names have no space in Preparations subview RD [03.08.2020] this may have been an issue with Mac view of with the previous export of data. Doesn't seem to be a wider issue
[x] Loan record ID not available when a new record is first opened [SK 03.07.2020]This is linked to record set creation which is a temporary work around to add specimens at the preparation level rather than the collection object #18 . Due to the need for a record set the user would want to create the loan record first to create a loan number and then use the Loan number as the name of the record set.
[SK 03.07.2020] There are benefits to the retrospective allocation of a record ID in the database as it means unfinished or blank records cannot be saved. It may be that this issue just requires a shift in organisational culture as users get used to the new system. The added functionality that Specify have developed so that loans can be selected at the preparation will probably resolve this issue. RD [08.08.2020] - This is a workflow issue. The user would be able to work in a such a way as to allow the creation of the loan record before the creation of the picklist
