Freeze when selecting Image #39

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Set up Demul
2.Press "Run Dreamcast"
3.Get the pop-up that the image plugin isn't set up yet (doesn't matter what 
plugin is chosen), click OK
4.Press the Select button to get the file browser to appear
5.File browser never appears, Demul freezes

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Demul 0.5.8 on Windows 8

Note: I use Clover

s-for-explorer/) as an Explorer add-on, but it has never had any 
incompatibility with anything so I doubt it's the cause but since I seem to be 
the only one with this issue, I find it worth mentioning

To avoid this problem try this:
Open "Maple & Devices" dialog, select any VMS slot and run the VMS explored, 
choose "Open VMS", when the "Open File" dialog is displayed, close all of this 
then try to run dreamcast as usual.

This bug is occurs different on different systems, some won't affected at all, 
some have broken "Open File" dialog controls, some crashes of freezes... it's 
about some uncatched memory corruption inside the DEMUL, we'll deal with this 
someday ;)

That does work, sort of. The file explorer opens when selecting an image, but 
trying to select things, switch folders, change types, anything really causes 
it to freeze. I haven't been able to select an image yet, but at least the file 
browser opens now!

Same problem for me with Win8 64 bits.
But also I can't launch Atomiswave, Naomi or Hikaru games (freeze after 
selection of 
a game.
Only Gaelco games are working.
Everything is working with previous versions.
