Differences in speed. #314

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Loading the rom. 
2.Disabling audio. 
3.Playing the game. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The game seems to go faster when the audio is disabled.

What version of the product are you using? On which system and loader?
Wii64 beta 1.1 Honey,system menu 4.2,HBC

Please provide any additional information below.
I've listed down the speeds of different roms to show as examples.(I didn't  
know how to copy the FPS so I just copied what I saw.)

Banjo-Kazooie average speed:58.8 VI/s, 29.3 FPS
Disabled audio:72.2 VI/s, 37.6 FPS

Eartworm Jim 3D average speed:60.0 VI/s, 60.0 FPS
Disabled audio:183.5 VI/s, 183.8 FPS

Kirby 64 average speed:61.7 VI/s, 30.3 FPS
Disabled audio:177.6 VI/s, 88.1 FPS

Legend of Zelda Ocarina average speed:60.6 VI/s, 60.6 FPS
Disabled audio:85.7 VI/s, 86.1 FPS

All of these were taken at the main menu of every rom.I think this was 
important so I posted it here for you to see.Hope this helps :).

This is because certain games sync to audio playback.. if audio is not played, 
there's nothing to synchronise with and so the games go beyond what they're 
supposed to.

So is it possible to increase the speed of the emulator with this

I noticed the same thing with Snowboard Kids. The game works otherwise almost 
perfectly fine (besides a very occasional texture flicker that isn't an issue 
at all, only noticed one glitch with the trophies at the end of races) - it's 
just the speed, which you're working on.

Disabling the audio brings the speed back up to pretty much what it should be 
(or, at least, after playing it slightly slow for a while it felt normal, not 
sure what a typical FPS is for the game).

Is it possible that some games are being synced to the audio that shouldn't be, 
or is it just compensating for performance loss elsewhere?
