Did you remember saving your config inside the "Configure Buttons" option? It's
in the uppermost button, far to the right. If you never click save there, it
won't matter if you click Save Button Configs (weird, huh? But that's the way
it works, and I had the same thing happening to me when I first started using
WiiSX).

I have actually done that, I've tried saving into all the different slots.
I've tried saving the setup.cfg file afterwords, saving the controller config
before and after, as well as doing everything repeatedly. What I may do is try
another clean install to see if that fixes anything.

I'm having this same issue myself. I've made sure to first save into a slot in
the "Configure Buttons" screen, then click "Save Button Configs." I've tried
with or without saving the "settings.sfg" file afterwards. The config stays as
changed if I load an ISO directly afterwards, but as soon as I quit WiiSX, it's
gone the next time I start it back up.
Help?

Same issue here. Checked the settings.cfg file and indeed it resets to default
everytime I load the application. All the cfg's appear to reset. Weird

I can confirm. same issue here. Wii64 uses the same setup and works fine but
not wiisx. goto button config>choose slot (1-4) and save>back to input screen
and save to SD or USB. next restart wiisx remembers nothing. controller
config files are being updated (the modified date changes). Have noticed when
choosing a slot and click load the spinning playstation logo disappears
(strange)Hopefully this can be fixed soon because this is a very good emulator
that with a little fixing could be great.
