phaleron-si: Erroneous hierarchy and definitions with ROIs 'Entire set of ribs'

Problem Statement

Class Hierarchy

Class 'Entire set of all ribs' (phaleron-si:EntireSetOfAllRightRibs) is a subclass of 'Anatomical region of interest' and currently defined as follows:

An anatomical region of interest describing the entire set of all ribs in a skeleton.

It has two subclasses:

• 'Entire set of all left ribs' (phaleron-si:EntireSetOfAllLeftRibs)
• 'Entire set of all right ribs' (phaleron-si:EntireSetOfAllRightRibs)

This contradicts the definition of 'Entire set of all ribs' as the subclasses reference subsets of the superclass.

Class Definitions

The definition of 'Entire set of all left ribs' is as follows:

An anatomical region of interest describing a left rib.

The definition of 'Entire set of all right ribs' is as follows:

An anatomical region of interest describing a right rib.

Both definitions contradict the class labels that indicate sets of multiple ribs.

Required Action

The following changes are necessary:

• Make classes 'Entire set of all left ribs' and 'Entire set of all right ribs' direct subclasses of 'Entire set of bone organs'
• Change definitions of classes 'Entire set of all left ribs' and 'Entire set of right ribs' to denote all ribs in one side of the body.
