Paleopathology: Standard tabular output #49

Open cuboideum opened 2 years ago

cuboideum commented 2 years ago

All data that are entered should be retrievable through a standard tabular output so that users can access them without SPARQL knowledge.

With the paleopathology module, output is relatively difficult to standardise for the following reasons:

As a consequence, all dataset sections on pathological observations have a different structure.

Should standard outputs be based on dataset sections (i.e. individual observations), pathology types (e.g.bone addition) or individuals?

Should there be separate outputs for data referring to anatomical regions of interest (i.e. data from ROI specifications) and data referring to observations or should one table contain all information at the price of redundant information?

@JEB13, @HannahLiedl, @hayesleigh, @jstamer95, @jessica-rothwell and @sacheever: Please discuss on the background of planned data analyses and post feedback as discussed in today's meeting.

@hayesleigh and @cuboideum discussed this issue in a video conference on 10 August 2023. They decided that @cuboideum should go ahead with creating queries. If need be, members of the Phaleron project could then request changes to these.
