Using protect feature breaks the apk file!

Hi,

I used this tool to decompile my own old application that removed from play store because my older account was suspended :(

The hacking tools are works great like ( decomile , rebuild , refactor ) but when i use new feature Protect APK file it build the apk but you can't use it like a normal apk file I think that because the protected file is not signed and there is no way to sign it with any signer tool.

The apk file that i used is this Kurdish Keyboard file I created my own keyboard for my language and layouts I used open source project AnySoftKeyboard

What signing tool do you used ? Use apksigner.jar which is found under android sdk build-tools/x.x.x/lib/apksigner.jar

I did that i used apksigner but when i input the keystore password nothing happen it can not sign the protected apk file!

Your log tells your apk signed successfully, or i missed your question ? Install your apk from command to see the error adb install your_file.apk

Oh my fault you right I doesn't tested the APK file you right it was signed and installed to device successfully Also after protected it can NOT decompile with any apk editor tools/apps Thank you so much for this great tool now I can protect all my own works from hackers and editors :D .. Edit: Sadly it can be decompile even after protected file using APKTool M Android version :( but the Refactor maybe a great feature to rename all sources and it's a good protector too :D

You probably decompiled unprotected file or decompile without resources. I have tested with all known decompilers, please check again and create issue.

I decompiled the APK file with another tool APK Easy Tool 1.60 and edited some parts then used same tool to Recompile after that I used your tool to Refactor & Protect that APK file but I tried to dcompile tested APK Editor Studio, APK Easy Tool on PC that two software cannot decompile and tested APK Editor Pro 4.1 this Android app can't decompile it but I used an russian Android app APK Tool M Unfortunately with this app you can decompile and hack all sources of refactored & protected file.

BTW: v1.1.7 is just released

First time seeing this app, there are unlimited ways to make harder for decompiling but lets use one at a time. For now check this commit or you can use this update APKEditor-1.1.7-UPDATE.jar

You right there's to many apk editor files with limited functionality but that one is full of hacking tools to modify any apk files with great success rate.

Thank you very much bro for your great and so helpful tool to protecting our files from hackers you are amazing the last commit is working like a charm now it's full protected with both method 1 & 2 everything is working and none any of editing tool/apps can decompile the sources of APK file.

Bro i really thankful for your hard job and want to support you by donation but I don't know how can i do that because paypal service or any other bank accounts doesn't available in my region we are using this way FastPay for online payments and unfortunately it's only available inside the country not outside.
