selection of a observation changes the coordinates of the select and relocates the crosshairs.

steps to reproduce:

bring up an observation layer
select any observation
note the lat/long coordinates in the dialog do not represent the actual point selected
note that the crosshair is moved to the coordinates in the dialog
call in the kids to help you find where the crosshairs magically jump to. it's a hoot!

new observations on this one (version v0.2.32):

what i am seeing is that if the observations are in the background (where there are multiple layer cards loaded):

Selecting a obs pops up the dialog and it stays in view (seem to recall Sergio saying this was repaired).
doesn't exhibit the magical cross hair movement.

if the obs are brought to the foreground the dialog blinks away nearly immediately along with the crosshairs.
