Better Bot Targeting System #189

A better spotting system for bots, because the entire enemy team instantly spotting you at 1000m the moment you fire a shot is simply not realistic. This is what I'm thinking: a system based on distance and time. For example: At 500m, if you fire a shot, a fair amount of enemies who are not currently in a gunfight are "alerted" Alerted enemies will turn towards the general direction of the sound and begin searching for you. At first, when they first begin searching, there's a 3% chance for every bot that they will see you, and this goes up by 3% per second and is capped at 30% per second. (In battles with a significantly lower amount of bots, this number should be somewhat higher.) They will give up after 25 seconds or if another bot attacks them, at which point they will move their attention to the bigger threat. A bot who finds you will begin engaging you immediately and reveal your location to all of their squadmates within three seconds, meaning that if you kill the person who spots you before they can alert their squadmates, you will continue to be invisible until someone else spots you. They will also alert all nearby non-squad allies within six seconds. The chance to spot you per second, as well as the chance increase rate per second should decrease proportionally as you get farther away. If you move back into cover after being spotted, they will still "keep an eye out on you", meaning that for 45 seconds, you will instantly be spotted if you leave cover, unless you are a significant distance from where you were last seen. Within a certain distance (e.g. 100 m), alerted bots will spot you instantly. Crouching reduces the chance and chance growth rate of being spotted by 20%, while proning reduces it by 40%.
