What would constitute a minimal project to merely detect the device in lspci #39

What part of the sample project would be sufficient for the OS detect the device?

Would configuring xdma ip and adding the xdc constraints be enough (including taking care of "early" constraints)? Or what you do with AXI and AXI-Lite ports matters to merely being detected by the OS?
