a small and inexpensive camera module is required that is good enough to recognise text on an IC

Due to high cost and extensive delivery time of a camera module containing pin heads, and the NodeMCU not featuring a FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) head which most camera modules use, the following component will be ordered.

Much like the NodeMCU, it will be using the esp32 processor and have a high ammount of breakout pin heads, with the noteable difference being it features a FPC head and contains a 2MP camera in the box.
