From 2022 analysis, the verified commitment to Net Zero indicator had two discrepancies in its calculations that make it not compliant with SBTI requirement. To be compliant, it should:

only look at corporate instrument and not at the whole portfolio
weight by exposure in the portfolio and not by number of companies

As a consecuence, underlying equation should be changed as follow:

To be able to compare with 2022 results, we therefore want to keep 2022 results and add this new formula that is compliant with SBTI. Text will be added in the ES to explain the change

Just for reference, we need this function to be updated: https://github.com/RMI-PACTA/pacta.executive.summary/blob/main/R/prep_net_zero_commitments.R given that we have the input information about SBTi commitments for the user and peers in user_data/scorecard which should be generated in when running run_cop_user_data_prep.R in workflow.prep.PA2024CH.
