RStudio won't open - Dell XPS 13 #45

Twice I wasn't able to open RStudio. In the taskbar, it appeared to be open, however no window would open and hovering over the icon would show a blank thumbnail.

This solution worked for me (resetting global settings): https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/200534577-Resetting-RStudio-s-State

@Clare2D, I'm curious, Is this the same problem you experienced a few days ago?

I tried that solution however didn't end up being the right one for me. I had deleted somehow other files even more core than those ones in the global setting somehow. Close though, I did try something similar at least! Can this be closed? Or is this still an issue Jackson?

Thanks for asking -- which reminds me I should clarify this on README.

I know this is confusing, but in this repo the issues say open. Given the goal of this repo, I would only close an issue in this repo if I expect to no longer be useful in the future (e.g. if the resource shared in the issue is no longer valid, it's confusing, or there is a better alternative.)
