Following today's meeting with @jdhoffa:

Use r2dii.data::scenario_demo_2020, which should have different "scenarios" such as sds b2ds nps. Nuclear is increasing in some of these, and decreasing in others? (check)
Write a two panel R shiny app, the first panel asks the question "Would you like nuclear to increase or decrease?"
The second panel should just plot the scenarios that satisfy the criteria of the first question (tmsr or smsp vs year)
Show to an analyst of how it will look, and get support thinking of more "dumb" questions to implement

Uses r2dii.data::scenario_data_2020.
For now it has a single panel -- with the questions and plot all in one place.
For now it asks the most dum of all dum questions: Which scenario would you like?

The infrastructure is minimal but from end to end.

The obvious next steps I see:

Ask more useful questions.
Use the real data, considering privacy issues.
Adapt the app accordingly.

Please comment on anything that may help me move forward or set a call.

@jdhoffa,

I hope the current version of the app skeleton is now a bit more realistic and closer to the MVP you're thinking about. It does not include all the items descried in your comments but has some properties that understand are important:

Uses a fake and small version of scenario_data.rds.
Uses questions to pick rows.
Each line represents the interaction between model and scenario.
Labels the y axis with the value of variable. I'm unsure how to use the seemingly multiple values of variable (e.g. "a|b|c") in a useful way (see https://github.com/2DegreesInvesting/scenarioSelector/issues/4).
Updates the UI dynamically, to show/hide a question based on the answer to a previous question.
