I have received an answer from SkyWatch with things to try in order to fix the battery problem
Improve the antenna placement and look into the safety switch along with the battery problem still present. Regarding the battery problem, Michael from Sky-Watch suggested changing the min and max of the battery cells.
The telemetry is not working currently
The drone has been 'cleaned' up so it is not a wire and cable tie mess as before. A holder for the batteries (2 pcs.), AED, and rotor light has been added to the bottom of the drone. A holder for the GPS and GSM module has been made and 3D printed.
We still experience a problem with the battery and telemetry (even after we got an original 3DR 433MHz telemetry module). We hope that a 4S battery will fix the battery issue but we haven't received them yet.
The GPS antenna stills needs to be moved and the 2nd for the OES needs to be mounted but due to the state of the OES computational unit this has been postponed a bit.
The DX9 transmitter needs to be setup instead of the DX6 so we have more channels if needed.
The Spektrum DX9 transmitter has been set up and the functionality has been confirmed through QGC but not in real life since we were at uni and the compass needed calibration.
Closed until we find other problems.
Test, in the real world, standard MAVLink commands such as arming, takeoff, waypoints and landing.
