This is a known issue with the 17th build on x55 unfortunately, if you switch to Panfrost gpu driver it works. we are trying to get a release out that fixes it.
@sydarn I figured as much. Probably good for noobs like me to have an Issue ticket with the direct workaround in the meantime. Thanks.
I believe decoration set or overlay set is not working on X55 too.
Fixed in today's release!
I’m seeing the same issue in the latest build on my RGB10Max3Pro. It either doesn’t open and kicks back to the tools page or I get stuck on a console window with the filled in cursor rectangle. I’ve tried using the install shell script and the zip that PortMaster provides in their install steps, but not having any luck. I’m also too new to this to figure out how to load the log file! I can see it but can’t get it to copy to the SD card so I can see what’s going on. Any help is greatly appreciated 😊

Is your second SD formatted to NTFS? I had the same experience using a NTFS formatted card. Reformatting to ext4 resolved it.
I am 100% using NTFS! I’ll give that a shot and report back. Thanks for the tip!
Describe the bug
New device, re-imaged SD card with Rocknix since the default OS is so jank. Only jank i've found so far is that i needed to go back to version 20240411, to mitigate a couple of deal breakers. File Manager and PortMaster do not open.
How to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Information
Log file
Too new to this to know how or where this would be located. If someone wants to walk a retrohandheld noob through it, i'd be happy to, but this is easily replicated.
Context
Just received my new device is all. I swapped the basic SD with a reasonable 32GB PNY and plopped another PNY in the TF2 slot for games.
