It's so weird. Why is Retro Arena working fine, but Rocknix is not?

spycat88 commented 4 days ago

The Anbernic bootloader included with Android is not compatible with the ROCKNIX partition scheme.

There is nothing weird about it.

freefelt commented 4 days ago

Or vice versa) I look at it from the user's side. Retro Arena can run on my device, but Rocknix can't. That's all. It's at least strange to give up Android to install Rocknix.

sydarn commented 4 days ago

Even with compatible partitioning scheme you would not get the full experience. No sleep and no overclocking possibility, and potentially more unknown issues. What you have on the eMMC is like a BIOS in the PC world, and the android one you are using is ancient and is simply not compatible with some features that ROCKNIX provides.

Well, it's interesting for me to try. But you have instructions on how to remove Android, but there are no instructions on how to return it.

This is not a support hub. This space is for ROCKNIX issues, not for Android, that information can be found easily at the manufacturers own website.
