Describe the bug

Hello! I'm not sure what changed but recently I have been experiencing a bug where rather than awaking from sleep my x55 will sit with a lit screen and nothing happening and I have to reboot it. I've also noticed that during boot now it says that the batterystate service has failed to start if that is related

How to reproduce

  1. Tap power button to sleep.
  2. Tap again to try to wake up
  3. Notice nothing happens except screen turns on

hey, I have the same problem on my rg353v and I've found a temporary fix for it. If WiFi is enabled and the device is woken up from sleep it will always show a black screen with an underscore in the top left corner, even if the device doesn't get stuck, this screen will be visible for a short moment. If WiFi is disabled, the system wakes up immediately and therefore won't get stuck in the black screen with the underscore. Hopefully this sheds some light at the problem. This is definitely a bug worth looking into.

@mitja90 's suggestion to turn wifi off worked for me as well if that helps diagnose the issue
