The default combination in Retroarch to enable ANALOG dualshock does not work, it has another function (L1+R1+Select). I replaced at RetroArch with L1+R1+Start and it works.
I believe that the best default option for the controller is "dualshock" (right now is not, it is "standard") and, in my opinion, the ANALOG should be enabled by default.
How to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Go to PSX emulator
Launch a game with ANALOG support
ANALOG does not work by default
With Select+X get into the options
Select Quick Menu -> Controls -> Port 1 Controls ->Device Type (it is "standard" by default, it shuld be "dualshock").
After that, the analog does not work, you need to enable it.
The L1+R1+Select combination does not enable the ANALOG (it performs savestate).
In Core Options, it is needed to replace this combination with L1+R1+Start.
In game now, pushing L1+R1+Start the analog works.
My proposal is that DUALSHOCK and ANALOG on should be the default config.
