This is a re-Merge of pull request #21 from rraminen/PR_Revert_HIP_Cooperative_Groups_Workaround, it reverts commit 5b0fac74999ca0fc5fd4e10ecd6bd614eea0343c.

Depends on new Cooperative Groups HIP headers available in ROCm4.3+
