[Issue]: All the power used/average is shown when i user rocm-smi --showpower on AMD instinct Mi250 #160

Problem Description

I tried on several rocm-smi version and each time i encount an issue with the secondary die output which is showing N/A and the average output on primary device is divided by two. I need to launch heavy application and burn test and i canno't be sure the GPU are at 100%

I run a burn test on the 4 Mi 250 instinct . And the output suggest secondary socket are not calculated.

I m working on validated environment and i need to be sure and prove GPU is used at 100% at full power.

Yes, on the MI250 only the primary MCM die reports average power. Secondary does not.

This is expected. Both die's are on one piece of silicon - hence reporting one average power.

A few better tools for measuring GPU use could be the following - not necessarily power.
