GeoTiff Import Fails to Update Geonode #52

On import of GeoTiff there are several issues.

First, Geonode does not tell the user when the upload is complete. After clicking import the page stays on the upload page with the words telling the user the upload is in progress even after the upload has completed.

Second, even after the GeoTiff has been uploaded the product is not added to the layers page. You cannot search for, find the layer, edit the metadata or assign the proper sld. You can add the layer to the map but because of the above the visualization is wrong.

This should be fixed upstream with changes in my upload-work branch which is now in master, need to update external servers and test before closing.
