Clear unit tests for the feature calculations #20

There are many features for battery testing and ambiguity on how they are computed. Our unit-test process should be extensive to build clarity around them.

My proposal is to create synthetic data for each, and illustrate all in a notebook.

Also, I need to sync with BEEP to see if they are a better home for such algorithms.
