Quick summary

The ability to record video frames and audio output to a complete file similar to how Dolphin or Citra 3DS does it.

Details

When playing a game, one should be able to record frame by frame and audio of the game play which later produces a video file.

1. Please describe, what part of RPCS3 would be affected by your feature:

2. Please tell us, why your feature is important to RPCS3.

I am a Translator and YouTuber, HD is a must and sometimes emulators are prone to tiny hiccups or blips that have to be edited out later in my recording with OBS, having this implemented would allow me to record perfect frames and audio as if it was on a real PS3.

3. Please attach screenshots of the feature implemented in other projects.

This is an example of a similar feature in Citra 3DS. Screen Shot 05-05-21 at 02 44 AM

4. Please provide your system configuration:

Thanks, I didn't even notice that, what about video dumping?

I'm curious if such a feature was implemented. Would in a 30 fps game using a 60fps patch or vblank double. Record the video frame by frame with the audio in sync that even if the person was experiencing 1fps or 8 fps gameplay that the video will be a flawless 60 fps without issues? Cause I think that's how I was told when PCSX2 implemented theirs worked. Even if slowdown occurs for you. The output video dumped will not show the slowdown at all because it captures the GS window.
