This bug has been present in the game since at least version 0.0.6-8158 on amd and nvidia GPUs.
You should post a save file at the location if you have one.
I don't have a save. it's a demo with no save functionality. Here is a savefile from gamefax (Untested) It is the second level of the game after the first shootout in the graveyard a door takes you down the stairs to the bathroom. https://www.ign.com/wikis/the-darkness/Walkthrough_part_2
Retested and there no change. Using other buffers build (v0.0.30-15912-bc141831)
Note Cpu Bilt Breaks the graphics badly
