Can you please upload the TTY.log file as well? The game wrote to this file before finishing its process. It may be of help.

I have started playing the game again, I will provide both the new log and tty next crash
notes: updated graphics driver to 536.40, changed spu decoder to ASMJIT
Did you had audio loss before the crash? And could you try accurate XFloat?

I haven't experienced audio loss that I am aware of, I will try accurate XFloat and report back
I was able to complete the specific championship that kept crashing, I will update again if any more in the future crash in a way similar to the previous random crashes. However, a number of audio issues have started happening as of changing XFloat to accurate. Bouts of audio skips have become prevalent, especially in the noise vicinity of other cars. I have also noticed artifacts that weren't there before. All engines, especially at high rpm have a kind of "tv static" noise with them as well as sound a little garbled in other ways. I can see if I can get a "before and after" video if my pc handles the game and recording software well enough if needed.
Accurate Xfloat is not necessary if you don't have audio issues, and has nothing to do with the bug that you opened this for. You'll be better off disabling it. As for the TTY, it has exactly what I expected to see. This is a message from the game itself, which I have seen myself multiple times throughout the years, always in a random fashion. I don't really know what it means, maybe a developer can chime in. Keep this open, though, as it is a real issue with the game that has always happened for me, too.

Ok good, I'm happy I am not the only one experiencing it. I will try to get more logs/TTYs as it happens and hopefully the info can help the devs resolve it. Thank you
RPCS3.log.gz TTY.log Displayed logo this time, crashed as soon as it came on screen tho
Quick summary
Gran Turismo 5 crashes semi-frequently on track transitions (main game menu to track rare, track to track fairly common, track to menu common). Usually doesn't happen again on the same race after booting it back up, however it has crashed 4 times now in the Gran Turismo all stars championship. Also crashes mid-race (less rare than menu to track but more rare than track to track), unsure if issue is related. track transition crashes happen in both a-spec and b-spec, mid-race crashes I only remember happening in b-spec.
Details
when working normally, going to a track will have the screen fade to black and fade in the track name/graphic and a loading bar, and going back to main menu will have screen fade black and fade in gran turismo logo. On crash, it fades to black, nothing fades back in and after ~15-25 seconds, you see the RCPS3 game loading screen (the one where it shows it preloading cached shaders and loading/analyzing/whatever the PPU stuff)
