Unable to play Sports Champions, crashes after stopping the game #14786

Open NikNikovsky opened 10 months ago

NikNikovsky commented 10 months ago

Quick summary

I was just trying to play Sports Champions like the good old days, but I encountered an issue that seems to be recurring, so that is why I am making an issue. This issue makes the game unplayable (if you haven't figured it out already). Also, I will post the screenshot of the error that has appeared after I stopped the game. obraz

That game needs ps move and it's not implemented so you won't be able to play it anyway

for now

I've been going in and out of this game for a while now trying to find out what's wrong with Table Tennis rendering(#13353), and it hasn't crashed once on me like that so far, but maybe it's because I'm still on windows 10.

Checked the log this time and you are not using default settings. You changed default resolution to 1080p which this game may actually not support, default resolution should never be changed especially when you are also upscaling.

JimScript commented 10 months ago

Just put on 1080p to see what would happen and yep that's the problem, wouldn't start and gave the same error when closed, turned it back to 720p and everything worked as it did before.

Should not segfault either way.

I will try to change it, when I can use the computer tho.

It did start, but I instantly got kicked out to a message that my Playstation Eye was disconnected

In the I/O section:

That will get you in the game for now, but it's not ideal with how 2d mouse movement is.

@JimScript I did all those options and it still doesn't let me play (doesn't detect the camera)
