Would love to have some external control over these emulated "devices" via CLI (or more preferably restful API) instead of only being able to load and unload characters etc from the UI
Details
I liked the implementation of the portals for use in Skylanders and Disney Infinity. Unfortunately, when I run emulated games through Moonlight, It's just not viable to use the UI to change characters etc. I was looking down a path where I could develop an external web UI that's also mobile friendly to make changes for the loaded items in the portals. This would allow a better experience for couch gaming while also giving a fluent control (drop and drag) and visual feedback with images etc. of the characters and items.
A new UI with drag and drop functionality could pave the way for Lego Dimensions support (since that requires moving figures to different points on the base to solve puzzles)

While the idea is similar to https://github.com/Berny23/LD-ToyPad-Emulator, I feel he's over complicated it a bit.
So ideally, I request that there's some entrypoint outside the application to change, load and reset the pieces on the built-in portal emulators.
Cheers.
