This kind of problem occurs to Macross 30 too. And the symptoms are the same

Happens in NCAA March Madness 08 too regardless of settings. Does not freeze the game, but everything except for hud and menu buttons are a corrupted texture (random texture) or two on a black screen rendering the game completely unplayable.

Edit: Happens to Mamorukun Curse too, when trying to do story mode the game screen is black but the game still plays in the background.

Happens to Surfs Up, audio of navigable menus play in the background but it is just a black screen. Happens to Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, among other issues. Happens to Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 Demo, among other issues. And The Walking Dead Survival Instinct. And Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. And Tom Clancy's EndWar (disc). And NBA 08 Demo. And Battlefield 4/ Bad Company 2.

I'm sure I'm missing a decent few that I've noticed, but hopefully it's enough to keep track of for now.
