sound stops on MagicOrbz [NPUB30047] #6888

Archlinux, rev9007: Tested with Pulseaudio, openal, faudio. When I start the game, I sometimes got sound, sometimes not. If I get sound, after a few seconds (or maybe 1-3 minutes), the sound stops working. My log: RPCS3.log-MagicOrbz.zip

Sound doesnt work on ppu llvm but works on ppu fast.

Try tweaking with Clocks Scaling.

digitaldude555 commented 4 years ago

With 200% there is sound.

toccata10 commented 4 years ago

For me on Archlinux, I need PPU decoder to Interpreter (fast)+Spu Decoder: Asmjit. If I use LLVM, the sound stops after a few minutes. With llvm and clock scaling at 200%: same problem: the sound stops.

Changing the number of spu threads doesn't make any difference for me: the sound stops a few seconds after a starting a level. Only not using llvm makes the sound work (but with a performance hit).

Actually the game has no sound at all unless you use interpreters for example
