Sonic Unleashed crashes with an Out of Memory error #7610

Quick summary

Was just playing around in sonic unleashed, going to the Holoska stage choosing level. And as I tried to load into it the game crashed with an out of video error. My GTX 1080 has 8GB VRAM so I seriously doubt that i could have ran out of memory there. I was also running VMware in the background and had allocated 3gb of vram to it, but I don't think that was the culprit.

Closing because, while its an issue, its not something easily reproducible AFAIK. And going from advice on the discord server I won't be reporting crashing issues I cannot easily provide repo steps for.
