I have a data cube in a binary format described by Ripple/Lispix. There are some python readers and windows based software to convert/use this data. The use of this data will be a bigger project that we have time for before the end of 2018.

Maybe take this on next semester? In the meantime, maybe brush up on how to read binary data into a python object?
