I have been trying for weeks to get Node red to play VLC over the dashboard but it only plays the audio with a black screen. It is the same issue as this person only his ?her fix did not work for me. https://discourse.nodered.org/t/command-fails-in-exec-but-works-in-terminal/37316/6 It works from command line but not calling it from node red. OMX player has a node red function that works perfectly.
