Added UID for platform/user identification #34

Address issue on providing a UID as identifier instead of the platform name. This should facilitate multiple accounts on the same platform but with different user IDs.

Hi Ou, I have modified the user-guide for the other PRs. Once they are merged, I will combine it with this PR and modify it accordingly - otherwise it is going to have conflicting files. Thanks for the input!
