After a glide, Knuckles drops on the ground rather than slides. This happens when using any mod that loads PlayerObject - even if there have been no modifications made to it whatsoever. I tested this by creating a mod that loads the exact same PlayerObject file as the base scripts. Only seems to happen in Sonic 1 and not Sonic 2. Tested with decomp version 1.3.0 (release version) with latest scripts from February.
