Got an extra life during the credits demo (GHZ), then the music went silent

Expected Behavior

No extra life jingle, music should keep playing

Actual Behavior

An extra life jingle was played, then the music didn't come back

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Final Zone
2. Beat the final boss
3. Watch the ending sequence
4. Once the credits demo reel starts there will be a GHZ segment
5. Sonic gets an extra life (allegedly, there's a jingle)
6. Music stops playing and doesn't come back

It could be a bonus from hitting a certain score threshold, as it's impossible to have any rings during the final boss fight.

Also, I had all six emeralds, if that matters.

As you guessed, this is a bug related to the extra life bonus. This is a bug in the original game, so we can't fix it here.
