Creating a form and email temp to send out

I have been thinking on how this should be done i created a form and a template email
I will send out the email and interested candidates may fill in , then we will contact them

This part is not clear from the form: 'Organize and email to set up parts of the event (like asking partners to send out emails for us)'. Not sure what you mean.

Also, I don't think we need address but country instead. We can add organisation too

Hi @richarddushime , you can check the template, I think it is ready. Rowland reviewed the roles and he is happy with them.

I can't modify the form, can you change the address and add country instead and organisation before country? Can you give me edit access just in case?

Please add the document with the email template into the document register to give it a number and a link.

This is helpful for finding it next year.

I noticed the current website has to be replaced. Here is the section:

How can I volunteer? We have an invite-only organising committee, with places for anyone who wants to observe. The observer roles can attend meetings, make suggestions, are not expected to take on any tasks.

You can also fill out this form to volunteer as a **session chair during the event.**

You can find out more via the link to the volunteering page

Reasons: The old form is only for session chair & the volunteering page is not containing poster judge for example

Maybe we should give free tickets to session chairs too? Ask steering committee of RSE-AUNZ to help volunteer or find volunteers.

Added this to the things we have to do: Create email notification so that we can respond to volunteers that fill out the form - @richarddushime or @chrismpr86 - could you look into this please? How often should we check things?

Emails sent to the 2 applicants on 28/06/24.

Jiaxi and Sunchuangyu - decline as session chairs but ask if they would like to help out during the event as "helpers"

People from Africa who applied as volunteers can get scholarships. Same with the American.

Updating the RSEAA24-034 Final attendee list to keep track of poster judges and session chairs.

We only need one more session chair and one more poster judge. Have sent out invites for both, but haven't heard back yet.
