Hello Adblanken, Yes the resistor is in the diagram and on my board. You can leave it out, use a 0R but i have use it 2k2 See picture, just above Si4735 the resistor 2k2 : https://github.com/RSZ-Nld/Si4735/blob/master/Parts.JPG
Greetings,
Hey, I was looking at the breakout board here: https://github.com/RSZ-Nld/BreakOut-Board-Si4735
I can see it in the picture that you linked but that was for the other project
Cheers
Yes on the breakoutboard it was not used orginal. So i did the same. But you can add it when you like
Thanks. One last thing - Just wondering what you used to create the design, and are you willing to share the source files? Cheers
You can use what you want from this github. I made the pcb with the program Layout V6. The diagram made myself but from others and combine it together. Then the file to load is on github aswell. Ricardo (brasil) made it and is also free to use.
Great, thanks for the help.
Cheers

Hi there,
I'm planning to start a project based on the Si4735 and board looks ideal to experiment with.
Just wondering if it needs space for a 2.2k resistor in the crystal circuit between chip pins 3 and 19?
The resistor is seen in your other project: https://github.com/RSZ-Nld/Si4735
and in the schematic @ https://pu2clr.github.io/SI4735/#schematic
Cheers
