Dear @marcoaaz,
May I recommend you to ask your questions about OTB directly to the forum? You will have more chance to receive an answer. OTB is still maintained, and the latest version (8.0) came out last month. But LSOBIA, this "plugin" for OTB, seems to be abandoned.
You will find documentation about installing OTB on windows in the CookBook. The wiki is broken at the moment, it should be fixed in a few days. Sorry about that...
Sincerely. Julien :)
Hi Julien,
I have followed a few discussions on the Forum and seen how to compile with cmake-gui or setting the PATH variables in the command prompt of Windows10. In the wikipage, the instructions for windows are a bit difficult to understand. Is there a dummy tutorial with a PDF file/YT video to see how to do this? It will save me some time. Thanks.
Hello, I am Marco Acevedo. I wonder if this remote library of OTB is still maintained to be used with the latest version of the software. I have Windows 10 and I tried a few ways for installing OTB from source and build the library but I could not succeed.
I am hoping to explain my issues in more detail below. By the way, do you have an updated guide for OTB users (in pdf) wanting to use Windows? Given that the link (wiki.orfeo) is broken at the moment.
Thank you. Cheers, Marco
