RTXI Crashes after activiating more than 4 DAQ channels #144

Basic Information:

RTXI Version: 2.4 Installed from Live CD?: no

Error Description:

What happened? when more than 4 PCI ports are activated in the control panel, the system hangs. Force shutdown is required afterwards.

What was supposed to happen? RTXI should not crash, especially when the computation time does not increase after activating more ports.

What steps will trigger the error? Open RTXI, and activate as many ports as possible from the control panel. RTXI starts to slow down at around 3 activated analogy ports, and any more risks freezing the whole system and needing force restart.

Error Message:

no error messages shown on the console

Please check out the latest version of RTXI which supports NI DAQ devices and is able to open multiple channels. Unfortunately the more channels that are open, the greater the computation time due to hardware limitations, so be mindful of the period. Resubmit if still an issue.
