While this is a liability on the tool, I believe that it is within the capabilities of open_pdks to customize source files of a pdk.

@kareefardi - I logged a bug on the OpenROAD project to add support for the SPACING RANGE functionality @ https://github.com/The-OpenROAD-Project/OpenROAD/issues/2243

@mithro Thanks. I should have mentioned in this issue that the suggestion was to customize the source files to use spacingtable which is supported by OpenROAD
