Hey, thanks for reaching out - great that the LCZ Generator is used around the word!
Unfortunately the system is down at the moment as you can see in the uptime monitor (red).
There was some hardware related incident in our Institute where we (Bochum Urban Climate Lab (@RUBclim) have no control over at the moment. Our IT-department has to fix this. While we manage the deployment ourselves, the servers are installed within this network and since major components are still down, our servers are also unreachable.
Due to a lack of information, we have no idea when the service will be back online it may be days, it may be a week or two.
If you really urgently need to have an LCZ map created (i.e. the deadline of your PhD/Masters/Bachelors thesis, is very close, you need to address a review of a paper in the next days, a proposal submission deadline etc.) you can reach out to us and we can process it locally. But a few disclaimers
short update: parts of the system are back online and we are confident that the LCZ Generator will be back up and running tomorrow (2022-12-08) or the day after.
The Outage starting 2022-12-03 05:00 UTC has been resolved as of 2022-12-08 14:16 UTC. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The outage was caused by a hardware failure in critical institute wide systems the LCZ Generator depended on.
Submissions made earlier (after 2022-12-03 05:00 UTC) will be requeued soon. New submissions are possible now.
Hi all, I', trying to connect from Chile, but despite the server indicates 99% uptime, i cannot open the web page. Is there an issue with international connections?
