you need to install c++ build tools, its the first thing on the list
If you are on Linux and using Anaconda, try the following:
conda install gcc_linux-64
conda install gxx_linux-64
This solved the issue for me.
I have the same issue but i am running it on windows os, how do i resolve this my friend @barugamon
Install Microsoft Visual C++ Build Tools:
Go to the Visual Studio downloads page. Download and install the "Build Tools for Visual Studio". During installation, under "Workloads" (or individual components), select "C++ build tools" and ensure the latest versions of "MSVCv142 - VS 2019 C++ x64/x86 build tools" and "Windows 10 SDK" are selected. Complete the installation.
Reinstall the Dependencies:
After installing the Visual C++ Build Tools, try installing the dependencies again. Make sure you're in the rvc_webui environment:
That is if you used a conda env..
conda activate rvc_webui
pip install -r requirements.txt
worked for me.
will this work even though i am using visual studio code instead of visual studio?
@mrhelixx thanks,it worked!
note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip. ERROR: Failed building wheel for fairseq Failed to build fairseq ERROR: Could not build wheels for fairseq, which is required to install pyproject.toml-based projects
I tried update SDK tried install microsoft visual studio build tools tried install fairseq from repository in github
maybe i didnt install something in visual studio
