Feature request : multiple tools at the same time

It would be nice to be able to select multiple modes at the same time. Tools 
would be activated depending on mouse cursor position on the clip on the 
timeline (ex : overwrite move on top part, insert move on bottom part), just 
like in Media Composer if you see what I mean.

Some version of context aware tools has been thought about many times during 
the development of Flowblade. There are some pros and cons for it.

PRO:
* Final Cut X, Avid and Premiere all have some version of it, so it is a 
feature commonly expected to be there 
* It allows user to change edit modes without mouse cursor leaving the Timeline

CONS:
* It forces the user to position the cursor very precisely to activate tools. 
This always causes more tension and muscle strain over longer periods
* It is against current design philosophy and internal code structure of 
Flowblade

Over all my position on this is:
* All these kinds of features will be made optional if added
* At some point (during 2014) I'll make some tests to evaluate these
* For now I'm making no promises to add these

I'm leaving this Issue open for further comments. If I decide against these, 
I'll mark this Won't Fix.

This is going WontFix, current approach to tools will be used.
