P.S. A few minor things I noticed with the interface
i) Vol Level would probably be better called Density Range (standard deviations) and be a freely adjustable range e.g. -2 to +10 so that display of negative and positive values can be controlled separately
ii) related the current adjustment only changes the positive end of the display
iii) radient map image becomes smaller than the other two images when bar added
iii) it is good that code catches and stops gaps (probably better to call spacing) being made too small and enforces a minimum spacing for given map size, but at the moment when trying to increase map size it won't allow it unless spacing is increased first - it should probably allow size increase and enforce minimum spacing
v) the heatmap zero (i.e. the white) for density seems to be at 1 which to me is not 'intuitive' and is different from the contour plot
