i just tried to summon the demon, but no luck.

after entering "python3 summon.py install demon -u (username) i was met with error: no module named 'requests'

Had the same problem, try installing the "standard system utility" when installing Debian (it should be the last option when it also asks about the GUI), and after reinstalling the os with that it worked with no problems.
