wifi: cannot connect to adhoc network on pc #107

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I create an adhoc network on my pc but the phone cannot see the adhoc 
network. If I manually enter the SSID and key in the password even then it 
cannot connect

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

can you connect to other networks with wifi on android? can you connect to pc 
adhoc with winmo?

I have only been able to connect to WPA networks on android. I can connect to 
adhoc on my pc using winmo

Solved the problem by replacing wpa_supplicant with a patched file from here. 
Can access the internet using adhoc-open now.
