indeed there seem to be some issues with certain SD cards. There are a lot of
posts about that on modaco.com. Some people are currently investigating on
1. what SD cards cause trouble and
2. what can be done about it.
In the meantime, try a different SD Card, or try formatting it differently. If
you can´t/don´t want to do that, you might have to wait.

I had the same issue. I had to ZERO write the card, ending up using the MAC
disk utility.
