Enhacement:
Add NETWORK mode: UMTS, DUAL or GSM

I use 3G apps in background (XMPP, beem, gtalk, etc) and I wish to force UMTS
(3G) to avoid increase power comsumption in dual mode.
Also because use voIP Calls apps work fine only in 3G.
I saw that Galaxy S have the option. Some other android dont have it.

Cheers

No data over GSM/mobile network is available yet. It has yet to be implemented.

I know, but "Enhacement" type option wasnt available.
Also want to remark this option because saw Androids like Huawei U8110 that not
have this option. Cant force 3G only. :(

Hi, DUAL MODE is available and default since the first release. What I am
asking for is the OPTION to FORCE to "3G only". Not DUAL-MODE.

Dual-mode drain battery fast and also take too longe to switch from 2g to 3g
when you are placing a voIP call.

Dual-mode is practically useless in VoIP deployments/clients.

Hope you understand us.
